Hot yoga

  • Drink a lot of fluids before class and throughout the day
  • Don't eat 2-3 hours before class.
  • Wear short, sleeveless clothing – it's guaranteed you will sweat.
  • Pay attention to yourself and your body.
  • It's okay if you have to stop. Sit calmly and rest.
  • If you feel dizzy, take a deep breath and rest. You can even lie down. This is normal, and happens to others too.
  • Be patient with yourself – about 10 sessions are needed until your body gets used to the heat.
