
Hot yoga
- Drink a lot of fluids before class and throughout the day
- Don't eat 2-3 hours before class.
- Wear short, sleeveless clothing – it's guaranteed you will sweat.
- Pay attention to yourself and your body.
- It's okay if you have to stop. Sit calmly and rest.
- If you feel dizzy, take a deep breath and rest. You can even lie down. This is normal, and happens to others too.
- Be patient with yourself – about 10 sessions are needed until your body gets used to the heat.
