In Nia, each person directs her own movements, based on an honest and loving relationship with your body, relying on the body’s instinctive intelligence. This is why it is applicable and safe at any age, fitness level and ability level.
What do you need to know about Prenatal Nia?
It’s recommended for healthy mothers-to-be from the 12th week. The class is based on easy dance, which in addition to beneficial effects on the body, helps you experience a connection with your baby, and promotes perfect body, spirit and energetic communication. Prenatal Nia is a class tailored to the demands of a pregnant woman’s changing body, which aims to achieve, in addition to a perfect physical condition, the establishement of a healthy spiritual condition and complete relaxation. In this way, it’s perfect and safe for those who have never taken a Nia class, or don’t do exercise, and for those who are expecting their first child.
Nia works the body wonderfully, but you won’t feel at all that you’ve worn yourself out. Instead you’re more likely to feel renewed and calm, with a sense of expectancy. It takes time to get used to Nia and yourself, but then you will find yourself „clicking” with your body and your baby.
TThings to know:
