Why hot yoga?

At Monsoon we know that doing yoga in a warm room is the best, given its Indian origin. Our name indicates this as well, since we would like to recreate the warm, humid atmosphere typical in the home of the yoga tradition.

Hot yoga is an intelligent and extraordinarily effective series of movements, during the course of which we work hard, but sensitively. Our goal is to feel good and to pay attention, with the increasingly attractive appearance and supple skin as a bonus. If we are in good shape, that does not just mean shapely muscles and good stamina – it means we are working our every organ, system and gland and recreating optimal health, right down to the cellular level.

Hot yoga is total health maintenance. At 34-36 degrees Celscius, the muscles and ligaments are supple, easily stretched, and so the risk of injury is significantly reduced. The body perspires consistently, making the detoxification process even more effective. In one yoga class you will sweat more, smile more, work more, and destress more, and do more for your general health, spiritual wellness and self-confidence, than you can imagine.
