Why yoga?

Yoga is the science of the body and the soul.

According to the Hungarian Yoga Instructors’ Association, the term “yoga” denotes an ancient universal philosophical system based on exercise that assists in human physical, spiritual and social fulfillment.

Yoga is a movement therapy that uses physical poses (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama) and meditation (dhyana) to achieve harmony of the mind, the body and the spirit.

It helps people of all ages to rediscover the path to harmony, health and happiness, with the help of practices and philosophy that are several thousand years old.

Just as medical science remains unified despite the number of different specialties, yoga’s different specialties do not indicate that yoga cannot be defined as a whole. Hatha Yoga, Laya Yoga, Nada Yoga, Mantra Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, etc. have different emphasis whose goal is to support the perfection of the human personality in different areas on different levels of development.
